What will become of Jordan? - The Young and the Restless

Victor should never have taken her to the ranch.

I’m really not interested in the character at all because she is unrealistic to me and over exaggerated in every way.
I think Victor brought her to the Ranch so that he personally would have total control of her. I’m not saying I agree because I totally disagree with how he handles things. He needs to have the police come get her.

When he brought her there they still didn’t know where Claire was so. I guess, part of the idea he had was to try to get her to tell him the whereabouts of Claire and, you know, that Victor would think that no one could do a better job of getting info out of her than he could.

I really don’t mind Victor holding her in a cell that he has access to. Every time the authorities have her in custody she gets away from them.

As long as we don’t have to see her behind bars on a regular basis, I’ve had my fill.

But then Victor would have to explain his lying about seeing Jordan fall off a bridge and presumably drowning.

Then there’s the enraged, snarling, still alive Jordan, howling that Victor locked her in his wine cellar. Torturing her for information about Claire’s location — Kidnapping, false imprisonment — Yeah, I doubt Victor is going to hand Jordan over to anyone alive.

Who knows anymore. He is a control freak.

I thought Victor would do Jordan in once he found out everyone was found and safe but he didn’t. What’s the purpose of keeping Jordan around?

I thought he might poison her.

I sure I’m WRONG…but i think this is when we will find if if Cole is the one who has been helping her. If victor confides in someone that he has jordan locked up in the basement and Cole over hears…he might be the one that helps jordan escape.

I don’t understand all these conspiracy theorists who think Cole is involved with Jordan. Do you remember back when Cole was lured to Jordan’s lake house and then hit on the head from behind and knocked out? That’s when they had already taken Nikki as a hostage.

Why would Jordan knock out her accomplice? And what would be in it for Cole? He was fine for years living his life overseas and apart from the Newman’s. I just don’t get what his motive would be.

Victor thinks that he is smarter than the police or even the FBI who should have been called to handle everything. I think that Victor wants to be judge and jury and sentence Jordan to death. I despise Jordan so I wouldn’t care if she died. However, he should have handed her over to the police or better still, the FBI.

I’ve been asking the same question, whats the motive in helping Jordan, what is his end game. I don’t see one.

Can you explain why Cole flew back to Oregon, broke into the cabin crime scene to steal the hairbrush (used by Claire on Nicki when she was being held hostage), fly it back to Genoa City to have the hair in the brush used in a DNA test to confirm/disprove Claire’s parentage … When Claire was already in Genoa City willing to have her mouth swabbed for a DNA test?

… Crickets …

Why would Jordan knock out her accomplice?

To convince the Newman’s that Cole was another victim of Jordan and Claire’s plan to kill the Newman’s to avenge Eve Howard’s death. He is attacked (not seriously enough to completely incapacitate him), argues and struggles against the hostage-taking very convincingly, all the while seamlessly complying with Jordan and Claire activities.

And what would be in it for Cole? He was fine for years living his life overseas and apart from the Newman’s. I just don’t get what his motive would be.

Cole was always a grey character that floated just above public vilification for his attitude and behavior since he first arrived in Genoa City. We have no idea how Cole’s life transpired at Oxford. We do know that his mother Eve was crazy as an outhouse rat and Cole’s aunt Jordan is a single-minded, kidnapping, mass murdering, poisonous, pyromaniacal sociopath — What’s to say that under that calm veneer of murmuring all the right things, the doting parent and replaying Victoria’s romantic ideal, lies a scheming, lying madman whose been lying in wait for the stars to align to participate in Jordan’s plan?

After seeing his baby daughter die in Victoria’s arms, Cole knows Claire is not his baby girl, but a child kidnapped and brainwashed for 20+years by Jordan to infiltrate the Newman family for her grand revenge mass murder plot. Cole hated being exploited by Eve (knowing he wasn’t Victor’s son), and no love was lost being used by Victor, Nicki and Victoria for their selfish needs. Cole was easily convinced by Jordan that the Newman’s murdered his mother. Add Cole’s own version of diminished mental capacity and Jordan had a willing accomplice and co-conspirator to act as a silent partner in her revenge plot.

Sounds stupid?

It’s no more or less idiotic that what JG wrote and produced.

IMO that was all done just to give a possible out to the writers if/when they decide to make Claire not a Newman.

I don’t really see Cole as an accomplice but I suppose he could be. No more stupid than so many things that this writer has foisted on us.

I totally agree with your closing statement:

If another day goes by in soap time, we have to wonder if he’s giving her water and food. No one can live longer than a day without water. And what about a bathroom?

Maybe Victor gave Jordan a bucket.

I don’t see him as an accomplice to jordan either, he was probably brought back for victoria. there isn’t any indication that he’s involved with jordan. they have left Claire open ended and yes they could change her paternity if she’s leaving the show.

When Victor asked Jordan how she liked her accommodations she said they stink and the food is worse (or something to that effect). So I do think he is providing her with some food and water.

I wonder how he gets the food down there and no one sees him.
