Bold & Beautiful's Thomas Kills XanderWith [Spoiler]'s Help?!?

Bold & Beautiful may be positioning Thomas to get up to his old tricks in the new year. Though the designer has moved heaven and earth to prove that he’s a changed man, the return of Xander — armed with accusations aplenty that Thomas was involved in Emma’s death — could very quickly unmake all of the progress he’s made.

In fact, after Hope responds to her lover’s proposal of marriage, Thomas is likely to feel that he has everything — and therefore everything to lose. But how could he make Xander go away and take with him any and all memories of Emma’s untimely demise? Backed into a corner, Thomas may have to recruit someone who’s even better at disappearing problems than he is: Sheila.

“Did someone say, ‘Ready, aim… ’?”

While there’s no love lost between the merry murderess and Thomas, he could see her as being extremely useful in a situation as desperate as this. Imagine it. He goes to her and asks her to “help” Xander vanish the way she did Lance Day. “Contrary to popular belief,” she’d reply, “I don’t just run around killing people for no reason.”

“Yeah, right,” Thomas would scoff. “Whatever. I’ll give you a reason. You take care of Xander for me, and I’ll take care of Hope for you.”

For a hot second, Sheila might think that Thomas is suggesting that he rub out Deacon’s disapproving daughter for her. But Thomas would quickly explain that if Sheila did him this killer favor, he’d ensure that Hope reconsider her stance on her future stepmother. “If I can change — and Hope knows that I have,” Thomas would say, “she couldn’t possibly say that you couldn’t.”

“You don’t know your fiancée very well, do you?” Sheila might laugh.

“You don’t know me very well,” Thomas would retort. “I can be very persuasive.”

“Do I look guilty to you?”

Suddenly, Bold & Beautiful would be plunged into the depths of uncertainty. Would Sheila give in to her violent tendencies, ironically in order to get the second chance that she swears she deserves? Would Thomas be able to go through with the murderous scheme and live with knowing that, when push comes to shove, he isn’t as redeemed as Hope thinks he is… as redeemed as he wishes he was?
