Authorities are expressing confidence about an eventual arrest in a shooting outside a western Pennsylvania mall that prompted an evacuation

Monroeville police say two groups of four to five males began fighting at about 8 p.m. Friday, and the brawl spilled outside, where one person pulled a gun and fired about 10 shots. No injuries were reported.

The mall, about 17 miles (27.36 kilometers) east of Pittsburgh was placed on lockdown and later evacuated. Bullet holes were found in a Macy's department store entrance door and shell casings were outside.

Mall officials said police evacuated the building "out of an abundance of caution," but it reopened Saturday and was operating normally.

The police chief expressed confidence that video surveillance footage and license plate recognition software would lead to an arrest.
