BIOGRAPHY
Charles Malik Whitfield began his career in 1992. He played, from 1993 to 1994, Dr. Ben Price on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live , and later appeared in films Fresh (1994) and Bleeding Hearts (1994). He became known in 1998, when he played the lead role in the Emmy-winning miniseries, The Temptations . Thanks to his performance as Otis Williams, he was nominated for an NAACP Image Award. Whitfield was subsequently invited to appear on CSI: Miami , Castle , The Game , Private Practice , White Collar , Law & Order: Special Victims Unit , The Good Wife and Scorpion . He also had the recurring role of Agent Henriksen on the CW series Supernatural from 2007 to 2008. In 2014, he played the love interest of April Parker Jones’ character on the Oprah Winfrey Network series If Loving You Is Wrong ; In 2016 he appeared in two episodes of the anthology series American Horror Story: Roanoke , as Mason Harris, and in 2019, he appears in the comedy Last Call , starring in the lead role of Darius Knight.
