Missing MA man found dead in Clearfield County

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — According to Clearfield County coroner, Kim Shaffer-Snyder, missing 19-year-old Massachusetts man Timothy Krevchenko was found dead Sunday in Girard Township.

She says an autopsy was performed Monday and the results are pending.

Authorities in Clearfield County are searching for a 19-year-old man who has been reported missing in Massachusetts after crashing his car in Pennsylvania.

Police say Timothy Kravchenko was reportedly involved in a minor vehicle crash over the weekend, near the intersection of Gillingham Road and Ridge Road in Girard Township.

Troopers say Kravchenko reportedly fled the crash scene and has not been heard from since.

Police say a missing persons report was filed for Krevchenko in Chicopee, Massachusetts.

Authorities say he was reportedly traveling to Pennsylvania at the time of the crash.

Police say he is not familiar with the area and is believed to be in the Lecontes Mills area.
